With the passing of pop icon Frank Sinatra (1915-1998) the world lost one of its greatest entertainers and interpreters of popular song. His persona, unique phrasing, and honest expression in song has influenced countless singers. In Full Swing pays respect not only to Frank Sinatra but to the classic songs and arrangements associated with his music, as represented in his unforgettable work with the great Count Basie Band and the Nelson Riddle Orchestra. This exciting program includes swingers such as "Come Fly With Me" and "Fly Me to the Moon," classic ballads such as "All the Way" (recently revived by Celine Dion singing along with a filmed performance by Frank), and the phenomenally popular "New York, New York."
